The problem

Coding agents follow whatever instructions they are given, and instruction sets tend to grow by accretion. Combining several public skill collections leaves you with overlapping skills and advice that pulls in different directions.

What it is

A set of 20 skills in the open Agent Skills format. They work in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and other agents that read the format. They started from Superpowers, Matt Pocock’s skills, and pstack. I kept the parts that fixed problems I actually hit, merged overlapping skills, and cut the rest.

Two ideas behind it

  • Proceed, then present. For anything reversible, the agent makes the call, does the work, and explains what it decided and why. It asks only about product direction, or before something it can’t undo, such as force-pushing, merging, deleting data, publishing, or messaging people.
  • Interview first when the project is new. Starting from scratch is the one time the agent should slow down. The brainstorm skill asks questions until it understands the goal, and researches while you talk.

The skills refer to each other by name. brainstorm hands off to writing-plans, and implement calls test-driven-development, so the set works best installed together.
